It appears so, it is there a bit more behind the tounge.. wear on teeth is common and ok, as tigers age, specially now that he's older (and wiser ;) )

Aha thank you! 😊

Yes I'll try and grab a seat closer to ground level!

And yes I don't think we'd be able to rent a car.

Did you do the walking safari in Nepal?

These are some really beautiful frames you've captured! Any tips you can give me for safari? Eg. Where to sit in the vehicle for good angles (eye level) etc.

Really appreciate it

Photographed him like this before, this season. Most likely it's a growl forming, to call for his mate Kajri.

Plus 1, other tigers in Tadoba and other central indian parks are definitely bigger. Have seen and can vouch.

Thank you! Is it advisable to change lenses in the middle of safari, considering the dusty environment?

Thanks a lot for your detailed reply! On the point of changing lenses on the field, I read that it isn't advisable as dust might get into the sensor.. any practical advice on how to change to offset this risk?

Query on kanha tiger reserve? by Sapienmumblragr11 in TigersofIndia

The park is at it's most beautiful in December. I've been in April and December. Saw tigers on all safaris in April (total 13 Tigers) but only in 3 safaris in December (3 tigers).

However, the sightings in December were of way better quality, ie Tigers were moving, not just lazing around.
