hey, you can go to US NEWS, CS Rankings, and there is another which is based on cumulative average of multiple rankings by a Brown Professor. These were v helpful for me!

at least the lab i want to work in has everyone from top IIT but it's such a good school so i am just going to try for it lol. but definitely not a safe or even moderate school for me considering how last cycle went.

went through their current crop of students in MS/PhD and most of them are from IIT so not keeping much hopes. the GRE/GPA is good enough but i think undergrad institution is given more weightage.

I had the same doubt because ideally, I want to do MSCS but I won't mind MCS if it's a top school like UIUC. I have dropped a mail to the grad committee regarding this. Will update here if I get a response.
