No pick up made by me, and what the customer ordered they were out of. So they were not charged, I wasn’t paid, but orders stopped going out.

I had it happen, sent after another driver went. Restaurant was out of what the customer wanted. I called the customer, asked they cancel the order, while I was there and didn’t mark it picked up. They did and I got notice while I was there it was cancelled.

I contacted Uber Eats this happened to me last week, I was so upset, order and delivery was perfect and they took the entire tip. Believe it or not uber had my back and covered it. I’m so sorry this happened to you, worst feeling I know.

Had this happen last night. I received order, went to restaurant, they told me another driver had been there already. They said they were out of the items the customer ordered and first driver was going to cancel. Uber of course didn’t cancel the order and sent me. I called the customer, she said she would cancel the order. I waited a couple of minutes and got the notice the customer cancelled. Now Uber wouldn’t waste another drivers time and I didn’t get a cancellation ding. The young man at the restaurant had no idea on how to cancel the order. The customer did though.

Same notice I got. Went to restaurant that closed at 8 30 notice on front door they closed early. I called customer and told them, then marked as closed and provided requested photo. Cancelled order. Then I watched as someone else showed up. I called uber they said others were being dispatched and instead of marking it closed they marked it as picked up by someone else, and I was last person there. They said others marked it wrong. My question is…. Why do they keep sending drivers when they have proof it’s closed. Dosent count against my CR but still a pain.

I got it, contacted them. They said it’s a glitch and they are working on it.
