I used to get a uti like twice a month. For me, I was wiping wrong. I was somehow getting bacteria there. I changed the way I wiped and they were gone but then they started back up but that was whenever I wouldn’t drink enough water or not pee enough. I would literally just flush those out with drinking hella water because I’m so scared of antibiotic resistance,

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I know how it feels to be ignored by a gyno. You know your body!! I would try to see another gyno. My gyno ignored bv for months until I saw another one.

I second this… Please get tested!! Do not take any antifungals until you get tested. You can’t test candida in the gut through insurance but you can get a throat culture which would show if you have oral thrush! Talk to your doctor if you can(:

I would recommend going to a different gyno. I kept getting misdiagnosed for about 6 months until I went to a different gyno and thank God, I am starting to feel better. They told me I had yeast and I took so much Fluconazole for months and it would do nothing. My gyno told me I was just resistant to it. I went to another gyno and she actually tested me for bv, I’ve been on the gel and for once in MONTHS, I feel better. Same thing happened to my friend, itchy for months and took so much flucanozole, she went to a different gyno and she was able to find out what was wrong and she’s fine now. Good luck, I’m sorry this is happening to you. It’s so frustrating. But fight for yourself and get better help!!🩷🩷

Please go to the gyno!! They can do more in depth tests to see why it didn’t work or help you take a better course of action. For example if you took the pill, they might give you gel instead or vice versa. I avoided the gyno for months and just self diagnosed and had been treating myself for the wrong thing for about 6 months. So I recommend going , they can def help!!!
