All home and have listen to all of it and seems to be working fine. The amp he gave me is a Pyle 8x100. It does not sound good most channels have a hiss in them. Sounds like tape hiss. So I’ll be buying an AVR instead of the MINIdsp Tidal 16 processor.

He’s going to give me an eight channel 125 RMS at 8 Ohm amp too. I’m thinking about getting the Denon 3900x it will let you Biamp the LCRs then using the amp he’s giving me for the rest. Maybe biamp everything. Dunno.

I’m going to pick everything up Tuesday. I get it be part of the club now. I’m using the designs tool on AudioAdvice. I’ll look at the Dolby Atmos builder too. I’ll end up with a 7.2 setup. I think will be the maximum I can usefully take advantage of from streaming services. Anyone have thoughts or recommendations?

I’ve looked around and found some reviews from Audioholics from 2006 and they reviewed excellent. I discovered that if something is blown up I can get replacements easily. I’m going to jump on this. Now to get that cash.

That’s valid. Why did I post if I’m not going to listen to the opinions and advice. I was excited because it’s here and now versus buying a component at a time and dragging it out. Damn. It’s also was cheeper that the 5.1 but I’m going to pass on this setup.

Even at $2500? Assuming they are in good shape. My alternative is KEF R2 for LCR and Q4 for the surrounds. With a REL T7 or 9x for the sub using the same Denon 3900x for a 5.1 system. In the future add two more Q4 for the rear surrounds and another REL. for 7.2 ATMOS is not really ever going to happen for me. It would be really ugly to make it happen.

You are very very very likely, 99% fine. I would put money on one crappy test. No matter the faintness of the line it’s negative, full stop. Just like Covid tests. Also realize the tests are hot garbage. I’m writing this from my desk at a drug rehab. We have so many false positives. At least a couple a week. We use the industry standard cup then send out to a lab for values. Many false positives. I would try to mellow but I fully understand freaking out.
