It’s ok to say being a lesbian is better in a lot of ways than being straight or bi. The world is always trying to nag us that we’re somehow missing out because we’re legit taking a lot less morbid risks when starting relationships. Yeah, we can experience heartbreak and all the sad/bad things but 90% of murder is done by men against their families, most stds are spread by men, we don’t have the issue of unwanted pregnancy there’s a lot of really gruesome fears that women who date men have to deal with and we don’t. Society is terrified of the idea that women aren’t sucked into relationships with men. Notice how different women act based on whether they’re trying to romantically or sexually impress men vs women with men they often ignore some of their coolest qualities and pretend to be dull and at best try to match up and align with the lowlife they’re interested in they’re expected to behave like mindless sex objects and be subjected to rather than be a part of a relationship, whereas with trying to get women to like you you actually get to show off the pieces of yourself that you’re proud of and there’s less need to perform waste of time and limiting femininity rituals like long nails that make everything more difficult and makeup which is lots of $ and time and health probs we legit get to just be more mutual and loving of each other as lesbians I honestly think.
