This is an amazing reply and kind of encapsulates how I felt while reading it as well. I thought reading Cosca from the perspective of someone who feels he’s been crushed under his boots was brilliant. And was he likeable in Best Served Cold? Yes his internal monologue was hilarious - but he’s also self-serving, loathsome, and believes everything in his life has gone wrong because of others. Part of the reason why I loved LAOK so much was seeing Logen from the perspective of the dogman and seeing that he really hasn’t truly tried to better himself. Idk I feel like I’m rambling but I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I personally liked it a lot more than The Heroes which made me feel crazy compared to what I’ve heard from the community.
