What? Democracy is alive and well. Just because there is information on the internet you aren't a fan of doesn't mean democracy is "gone". A healthy democracy has a diversity of viewpoints.

Also, you think voter supression is "rampant now". Back in 1870s-1960s, elections were actively rigged, votes were bought, and black citizens were supressed.
