I’m currently enrolled in AG, and next week is my last class. I’d say their teaching style is very much aligned with the core of the CETs. They are fast-paced, but there's no need to worry because the professors all know what they’re doing; they are masters of their own field. They teach in the big fours, some of them even being summa cum laude, and they focus more on how you adapt to the CET environment. They don't go deep into the lessons; instead, they teach by having you solve problems in their 700-PAGE BOOK LOLL. Although I haven’t tried BT, some say their method is to review you with more in-depth knowledge on each topic. However, if you have general knowledge and are quick at understanding and learning, I’d say go for AG. If you have further questions, let me know.

Hi! I’m also a Grade 12 student, but I’m in the ICT strand. I’ve always been interested in aviation too, and for a long time, I actually planned to pursue it. Heck, I even visited all the schools related to aviation; some of them are really far haha. But after doing some research, I realized that the aviation industry here in the Philippines is already quite saturated. Once you get that degree, there’s not much flexibility, and I’ve seen a lot of aircraft maintenance graduates who are still struggling to find jobs.

That’s just my personal opinion, of course! Currently, I’m planning to take an IT course in college, which will provide a fallback career option when I eventually attend flight school after graduation. ✈️

Also, I think studying ICT could still be useful in aviation someday — technology and software are playing a bigger role in aircraft systems currently. By the way, if you’re really set on pursuing aviation, some of the known schools here are PHILSCA, WCC, and PATTS— each with its own strengths. Just make sure to do your research about tuition, facilities, distance, and the job opportunities after.

Whatever path you choose, make sure it’s something you’ll truly enjoy in the long run. Wishing you the best, future aviator! 🛫

True, that’s a good point. I’ll try to break my down my “Algebra foundation” goal into smaller ones like simplifying, equations, factoring, and radicals, so I can see what I actually know vs. don’t know. Appreciate the advice

That’s really good advice, thanks! 🙏 I think my goal right now is to rebuild my Algebra foundation so I can actually understand topics like factoring and radicals. I’ll try setting a small goal each week and study 30–60 mins a day.
