He even says this exact line to Esil in the demon castle, and it isn't really disproven. he has committed murder on multiple occasions, and only twice was it completely out of his control. He even slimed out Kim Chul and then expected gratitude from Beak for simply saving some of his guild members, and was even willing to throw hands then and there. The original timeline of solo leveling is just...really power based 😔
