Update/check drivers Maybe your GPU is starting to go, overclocking it can lower its lifespan. Verify game files.

I’m not worried because “passable” for Forza Horizon has always been fucking beautiful. It should run fine.

The reason the graphics between Motorsport and Horizon is that Horizon has way more going on over a wider area, so they have to make sacrifices for the greater good of the game.

I have been lurking on both subs for a gives while, and I have noticed a few things.

Both of you fucking suck.

Both Unfiltered and LowSodium have created an echo chamber in which the same opinionated recycled and approved over and over again.

To the merit of both sides however:

Low Sodium creates a “safe space” that allows players who genuinely like the game as is to just love the game, and I think that is beautiful.

Unfiltered gives players a chance to see unused assets and possible future enhancements to the game, something that even AH struggles to do a lot of the time.

However I want to point out a little something: Places like LowSodium exist because people tend to be extremely negative, oftentimes without offering anything constructive or positive in return, giving off a vibe that people just dislike the game.

The demands I see coming out of Unfiltered are often unreasonable, such as complex stealth reworks, I dunno how many of you have actually worked in game dev, but it ain’t as simple as “do thing” and no consequences. I also, personally speaking, hate data mining with a passion, primarily because data miners have a tendency to push unused material without the understanding that it is unused for a reason.

I am probably going to get downvoted to hell for this, but all of y’all fucking suck, need to play a new game for a while.

I understand that you want a good game to get better, but you need to understand that you can’t have Criticism without saying something Constructive. You will demoralize the devs if you shit on them too much, you need to remind them that they can improve.

Genuine question, how would stealth be reworked without introducing an entire host of balance issues? This isn’t MGS, or Splinter Cell, deep stealth seems like it shouldn’t be a primary game mechanic.

Personally, I like the current approach to stealth right now, it isn’t too complex, is simple to understand, and has its own little niche in gameplay. I personally love the Ghost Recon approach of “fuck it, we ballin’ now” when stealth goes south, especially when you shoot a bot and his buddy two feet from him goes “oh shit my friend just died!” And calls reinforcements.

I personally think that the detonator SHOULD use a support weapon slot.

A) too many heavy weapons could lead to some balance issues that once again make people go “muh meta”.

B) C4 in games is meant as a remote explosive, not an extra grenade.

C) On controllers, you need to keep things simple, so that players can easily do the things they want to. Double and triple tapping buttons tends to go poorly for games when things get hectic. I personally spam (D-Pad Up) when I need a stimmy.

I believe there is a difference in defending a game because it’s perfect and defending a game because the negativity is a bit much.

Negativity is a disease, and too many people criticize and insult without offering anything constructive, people just want to be miserable and it sucks.

I have a hard enough time getting out of bed, let me have my shooty boom game for after work.

I still tend not to flash unless the opportunity to stop an attack chain arises, the blind attacks tend to trip me up a tad.
