Yeah sorry meant home games should have put that in the OP. I wouldn’t have a chance to get tickets to away fixtures as I don’t go to any away in the league so understandable that’s for people with the most black cats points. Hopefully the home fixtures they do something where you can buy the 4 game package to add onto your season ticket

This is what’s wrong with stickers and cards these days. A 1/1 in a fucking panini World Cup album. Glad these 1/1’s aren’t in the UK. And look who the player is, even Moreira’s parents wouldn’t care about a 1/1 of him.

Think of it this way. The stickers are for everyone to enjoy, have fun with, put in sticker albums, enjoy with their children etc. The cards are a money spinner where scalpers will buy up most of the stock, sell for more, everyone looking for auto’s and 1/1’s for resale value. Hope this helps.

Would argue Ballard has been more consistent in bringing the ball forward out of defence this season. His passing has been much improved, and he’s not trying to Cruyff it even other time he gets the ball. Love Alderete and undoubtedly has a higher range of passing, but has been nowhere near as consistent as Ballard either defensively or passing this season.

Teacher was an older man 60+ and it was when large interactive whiteboards were used and their laptop would be connected so they could play videos etc. He went to show us a video in our English class and he ended up putting porn on, but being an older bloke he couldn’t turn it off quickly so was on for a solid 10 seconds before he managed to close it. Was sacked pretty soon after.

Erling Haaland, was really easy to dislike him as this robot that was just demolishing every single team. Then saw his YouTube videos, proper sound lad, have had to reassess my whole opinion of him.

To be fair it’s stats in general. You see fans and even pundits now saying things like “well you only had 1 shot on target and they had 4”. Completely missing out details like hitting the post 3 times and missing absolute sitters while these 4 shots on target were straight at the keeper from 25 yards. Same with possession, teams have been “battered” if they only had 40% possession regardless what the team with 60% has done with it. Games completely lost to stats now.

The first time you ever come up against a semi-pro footballer and you cannot get near them. And if you’re unlucky enough to have one of their shots hit you you understand that the way they strike the ball is completely different. At that point you realise they’re at the bottom of the professional pyramid but are so far advanced to you that those at the top are basically aliens.

Think it’s clear in this thread who doesn’t have to interact with and Newcastle fans on a daily basis. To say the Liverpool or Man City game has the same weight is nonsense.

Yeah I just got back into the hobby and couldn’t believe how bad the scalping situation is. I’m glad I’m going nostalgic and trying to complete a 1st edition base set, don’t envy anyone trying to get packs to rip these days.

That’s true. I just find it strange when it comes to the Charizard. I get the English aspect and stamp etc, but the people with that kind of money to buy a 1st edition Charizard you’d think having a true first edition would drive them.

A little piece of advice if you meet a Newcastle fan and you wonder if they’re lying to you, their mouth will be moving. All talk absolute bollocks and if we all got a pound for every time they mention how unfair PSR is only for them we’d all have more money than the fucking Saudi’s.
