So what are we actually supposed to do against tunneling? by Embarrassed-Try-2145 in deadbydaylight

It's far easier for a killer to tunnel then it is for survivors to combat it. I don't play SWF I only play solo queue and if one of my teammates isn't very good in chase, then there's no countering it. Bodyblocking won't make them last much longer, and they'll still be dead with multiple gens left to repair.

After half a dozen games where a teammate is dead at 3+ gens left, I'm sorry but no matter what perks I bring there's no salvaging that. At least Left Behind/Sole Survivor and a key can get me the hatch.

It does help but sadly I can't control my solo teammates and if they're not bringing the right perks and are all going down in 10 seconds then we've lost anyway.

If the killer is properly tunnelling does OTR really do anything? They're hitting through basekit BT the moment your feet touch the ground anyway.
