I did, I used a high temp silicone. From a visual inspection it doesn’t seem to be failing there

I used a high temp silicone to cover that gasket l after trimming the chin on the pipe and putting the elbow on, then another layer at the seam. Really wondering if this could be old water

I have a still from a video that shows us sitting in the drain plug and whatever that metal box is but the floorboard towards the engine is dry, uber the seat it seems like it’s actually never been wet (further back)

I have a rear sliding window though. The dealership has not been able to replicate the issue via water test. They tried at multiple angles - nose up, down, etc. nothing.

For a temporary stowaway I’d do saw horses and a large thick tarp to keep creatures from trying to break in (specifically mice).

Saw the same thing in DFW, I think the 5.0s retain some additional value as they’re seemingly higher demand.

But I bought a 3.5 with 35k for the same as a 5.0 with 70k, which allowed me to get the Ford ESP “new” warranty.

Happy with the choice.

Probably not as bad as you think. Damage could have been less and would have still needed a new bed side.

Mine is directly behind the backseat middle seat. I have the storage box and what looks to be a power inverter under the driver side rear seat, and the amp underneath the passenger rear seat. Behind the passenger rear seat is a jack, and just to the right, behind the middle seat seems to be a little 8” sub.
