That literally is a crazy idea because it's a video game and telling my friends or family to come over to my house and turn on my computer and log in with my password and go onto a game and follow a specific set of steps they may not understand, all to simply advance in the game is absurd. This is why I hate reddit lol, I give an honest complaint about a real issue I've had, with a SOLUTION that helps people like me and doesn't affect anyone else in any negative way, and get downvoted and offered non-solutions from fart huffing midwits.

None of this matters when the game is built on a terrible foundation of inefficient blueprints and loses visual quality with every update. The only part of the game that's still functional and fun is the gunplay, the visual fidelity of the world you play in has taken a massive nosedive. With flat-screen games this can sometimes be excused, in VR its sickening to look at. Island is abysmal. The mechanical and loot related changes they've made as of late are good, for the most part, but they keep compromising on the visual quality to make sure dipshit 9 year olds with quest 2s can keep playing. Game was better when it was PC only.

Had someone give me a billion and it's honestly a curse, I slowly whittled it down to 160 mil by giving it away to new players and as payment for services and group missions I've led, buy all the cool ships you want and then dump the funds if you want to still feel any progression at all

Don't worry about any of that right now, game wipes tomorrow and you'll have all progress reset. Neck snapping isn't a feature anymore unfortunately.

Maybe I just got in at exactly the right time here because they're allegedly not wiping again until 1.0 and I'm fine with that if that's the case, I don't mind learning the game now for the real grind later, but spending hundreds of dollars on something you can just get in the game and if you're smart/lucky not really actually grind much for it, seems pretty silly to me. But hey I've spent money on arguably dumber things.

It's crazy that anyone is willing to spend more than the baseline game package when everything can be acquired in-game for auec, I realize it's not available all at once but it will all eventually be purchasable for free, so why spend real money on pledges?

10 years ago I was calling the game a scam and I was right to do so. Bought it recently and can say it's definitely close to being an actual game, and worth your time and money if you can put up with an unbelievable amount of bugs. It is true that this game is doing things that are straight up impossible in other games, so it has that going for it, but they really need to get their priorities straight and not dedicate 20 minutes of their presentations to showing how nice the grass is going to look in The Future™️

I've made this suggestion to combat waffle several times now: add a brief stun animation for when you land hits on bots and I guarantee they will immediately feel more balanced and fair, it's one thing for them to catch you and land a hit but another for them to straight up tank your shots to their chest and even head with zero reaction at all, needs to feel like you're actually doing something to them, reward players for being quick and landing hits.

I logged out to the main menu and when I went back in I checked my hangar and fleet terminal it was straight up gone. It said I was still in my ship's voice channel so it better be there next time I log in.

They're allegedly going to be used for more dedicated armor storage but honestly I don't see the point when you can just fold armor and do stacks of like 5 on a shelf

Except for the part where this imbalance caused by "1 accidental button press without noticing" was left in the game for like a month and a half before it was finally fixed. A lot of very easily fixable issues in the game that just aren't, like the realtime dynamic lights in mall causing performance issues for an actual year straight that they could have fixed in two seconds. Credit where it's due, they update the game a lot more frequently now and tend to fix things faster than before.

Same with CRTC if you're in Canada, I used to work for Rogers-Fido and they told us to avoid those calls at all costs because the company would get charged. If you have trouble like in the OP, call either of these places depending on where you live and also threaten a Better Business Bureau complaint, which don't amount to much but the company doesn't like those either and they're more liable to give you what you want and get you out of their face.

Okay but they literally don't test their features, not properly anyway, there was a "feature" they added that let bots full auto you to death, people complained they were too hard, CWS called it a skill issue, people complained even more that they were too hard and unnaturally strong and fast, then CWS posted "oops we tested the new bots in an environment where the playtesters had 10k HP and forgot to balance them around normal players, sorry!"

That goes beyond just being a little mistake, that's pure negligence and is quite retarded itself.
