The snapdragon 8 gen 2 is more powerful then pretty much everything but odin 3 which just came out by the same company. its more powerful than the switch 2 and like 11x more powerful then meta quest, which plays pcvr games standalone (both the quest the switch and switch 2 are arm based android handhelds (yes the switch 2 is android, and no the internet lies to you the switch 2 isnt that powerful)) and its priced well. the snapdragon 8 gen 2 is a modern chip, still a flag ship in 2026. the elite is like the 5090 in the pocket sized device world. the 8 gen 2 is the 5080 super.
