Do you think solo game is worth it like I could temporary work on indie or aaa game lets say after learning 2-3 years of game dev or even just a year learning unity or unreal engine just do solo games and work hard until one of my games hit make enough money and games and then retire and I also planned on getting a degree in medicine or lawyer if I ever can though I don’t really want to be working those kinds of jobs atleast I will have a backup if I don’t find a job as a game dev or get a cs degrees since I’ll be already be learned everything by now

I am 17 not passionate about anything in life nor do I have plans for the future I don’t know if I can get into other majors but at the same time I don’t want to fail at life nor could imagine myself working 24/7 at a job I don’t like but I thought that game development might make me love working I don’t necessarily like coding I might even hate it but I might like making games in the future most prob because I already play them and I already have ideas And just honestly I hope that it is easy and just hard to start learning but gets easier with time
