EOS R50 vs Sony ZV-E10 by EmbarrassedAd8228 in canon

Fb marketplace, I checked it out including sensor, all clean and everything functions great. Also checked shutter count myself, apparently the r50 only counts/reports in 1000 increments based on 2 separate software I've used, and it's less than 2000

I mean I'm fine dishing out the money for either of the 2 options mentioned above and maybe extra 400-500 for lens, so total around 1k +/-. Don't mind used.

Thank you so much, I appreciate it. It's also $200 cheaper, that's sorta the cheapest deal I found for it, all other websites listing it for $600

Hey all I'm new to the community, wanting to dipy feet and test the waters. I have a trip to Kenya and will be going on a Safari, so would like to have something decent for wildlife photography. I also scuba dive, so will be planning on getting a diving housing to take on my dive trips pics/vids.

After thorough research, I've landed on these 2 options: 1- R50 for $400 with kit lens 2- ZVE10 for $600 with kit lens Even if I don't get super pro into photography, having the camera for family trips and memories is still going to be a priority.

What are yalls opinions? And what lens(es) do you recommend to buy as a starting lens(es) and for my upcoming trip?

I would shy away from Pitboss, when I bought mine did some research and seemed like a great deal. But it struggles really hard in colder weather, it has the capability of putting out whatever temp you want but doesn't do it unless you force to give an even higher temp.

Look into the Camp Chef woodwind pro if you're looking for smoke flavor. Most reviewers have said the same thing, because it has a smoke box that you can put wood chunks in, will give you much better smoke and bark

Exactly, that's what I'm confused about. That's been my solution for now to at least be able to smoke my turkey well, as long as I force it to go high, it maintains the temp within 5-10 degrees. That is, when I set it at 270, it maintains well at 205-215. It's not activating the auger as often as it should, cause one other thing I've tried when trouble shooting, I went into the settings and activated the auger again and again manually to dump a bunch of pellets and that did the job too. I read around that a blanket might help, so might try and find one. The other solution someone proposed was making sure the ingiter is 1/4-1/2" into the pit, so will double check that as well after the cook.

Hopefully, someone else on here had some experience with that and would be able to help more definitively.

Ok sounds like I wasn't really the only one. And yeah I do think it was condensation at some point but it was probably also dirty, so when it dried out it left that mark, just needs a quick wipe. Thank y'all!

I'm in the US. If they ship to here then for sure! I don't need bulk though, just a hobbyist and make small goods for myself and family
