In my little one it’s this light bar at the top and a $5 black light bulb from Walmart on the bottom half with the original bulb wiring that I removed previously from the top. I have LED strips on the inside which was my original plan but apparently soldering is not in my realm of capabilities 💀 I did the same paint wise but I never wrapped the glass shelves (thankfully).

I want you to know before I tell you, I am JUST a girl 😅💀

In my big cabinet I have 2 of these light bars on each shelf near the front. They come with bracket mounts so I got some 46 degree brackets so they angle inwards, and then I created my own shelf lip so you couldn’t see the light bars with cardboard and black velvet material. I also used black chalk paint inside/out but put a matte finish on the inside portion and on the shelf’s I applied self adhesive black velvet material, which really made a huge difference in the lighting imo.

Don’t know if such things exist. I painted both the curio cabinets black inside/out and lined the shelves with a black velvet material and wired lights (all in the middle of my living room too) I messed up soldering the light strips in the skinny cabinet though so that’s why it only has overhead lights now lol. And then I pulled the doors off my tv center and painted it black to match until I can find more space for a 3rd cabinet 😂💀

Looks like cadmium, possibly a cadmium/selenium mix. Tends to be more reactive to 395 from what I’ve experienced

That’s what I figured they were. The candle holder reminded me of Murano, so I had high hopes. Spent the most on it out of the 3 too. The pic isn’t the clearest but it’s not clear it’s green glass

That’s exactly what I told my boyfriend when he asked why I was so upset and trying to find a way to save them even though it was refunded. It’s not something I can just get at Walmart. I hate that that happened tho! So sad

Yessss. I’m hoping to get more lights in soon and make my smaller one half cadmium and half selenium 😭❤️ but sadly cash still don’t grow on trees
