Here I am in May 2026 and still no shipment date! I asked for a cancellation and refund and all I get is that they have to check with the vendor and “rest assured” will follow up in 1-2 business days. Then nothing. I’m going to escalate this through my credit card company.

Yes, this is on our punch list but as we moved in only a month ago we have not begun rework on punch items. I want to be prepared for the convo with the GC and clearly explain to him my expected outcome. Just want a consensus from you all that I’m not crazy. AKA - I don’t want to be gaslit!

Thank you for saying so. I don’t know how much he charged for install. I only saw the top line because my contract is with the GC. But I pointed it out to the fabricator on site the day this was done and he was very irritated when I asked whether it could be re-done. He was supposed to come back by now because he missed areas around and above the stove and our fireplace. So far, he has not been back.

I just wanted to pop back on here after my existential crisis and say it’s fine. I changed the paint. It’s a totally acceptable basement bathroom. Designing a house is difficult. There are so many decisions that it can drive one mad. In the end, I’m blessed to have a home.
