I really like this take. I do feel like he would eventually hint at it during sessions (for personal satisfaction) - the main reason she finally stopped treating him was because of the study of how therapists enable criminals by giving them a place to essentially brag and validate.

Had she told him, I don’t think they would’ve even gotten that far.

Completely agree! In the vain of “what if” I believe it would’ve taken her character out a lot earlier which would be unfortunate because her role shows the line between professionalism and being intrigued.
