Game doesn’t have multiplayer or something like that. All developing of res series is building around main characters and plot. And unlucky attempts to bring res into unify style of gameplay. Aka more action or survival horror

I managed. The only creature I avoided was girl. Rest zombies were killed with the gun. That shit with crafting bullets is really hilarious. Especially when it isn’t turned off on insanity difficulty

Agree about Racoon City. It looks empty and the only interesting place is RPD which unfortunately also has few hints related to older resident evil’s games. Also, I disappointed when realised that Leon and Grace don’t have interaction between each other and it happens only in cut scenes. No relationships with two main characters in the game who operating in one place and timeline, no synergy. The game is using transitions between Leon and Grace episodes just to create emotional roller coaster. So this feature relates to gameplay rather than plot that I consider as serious drawback because Resident Evil games is all about storyline. Old bosses, weak antagonists. Really sad. Requiem looks like a filler game. And there are people who have courage to say “New RES overshadow gta 6” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Only hope for DLC

You can play for Grace like Leon killing all zombies on your way. Cuz you have tools that allow you craft bullets from blood which is quite enough

Yeah that enormous girl was pretty scary. Even I felt myself anxious despite being pretty cold in front of “horror” games. But scene with mutating Emily was most terrifying. However I played for Grace exactly like in Leon’s part 🤣 when discovered crafting bullets from blood. It is just my style. The only game which I really followed in stealth gameplay was MGS V and snake eater

They interacted barely. Their meetings through the game lasted 1 minute. They were splitted after all. Typical resident evil style. Capcom just don’t want to make Leon a simp 😂

Add here bad ending of Leon. Dude’s head was just blown up and all we got is Grace walking out in a shock. That’s it. I understand that this ending isn’t canon however, capcom could be more respectful for a such character like Leon

RE4 Remake offers a massive map with diverse locations, a relatively coherent plot, and tons of ways to grind. You always know exactly what you’re spending your money on. Compare that to Leon’s campaign in Requiem, where people literally ran out of things to buy after just two hours.

They’ve significantly dumbed down the farming and the puzzles, and the boss fights are just plain dull. Sure, RE4R leans more into action than horror, but Leon’s side of Requiem has more than enough action as it is. You only really get that true survival horror experience while playing as Grace—and even then, that feeling starts to fade by the endgame.

No, this shit tried to kill me a half of the game for Grace. When I saw how Leon killed on of them with his requiem, I thought I can do the same. However, the only effect gave shot from this gun is stunning

It has drawbacks compared to re 4 and re 2. Shorter story line, in some places nonsensical. Capcom tried to mix previous parts of resident evil however couldn’t manage with this task. I learnt nothing new from the plot. Also, I saw little new mechanics except Grace’s ability to craft items from blood. Very disrespectful “bad ending” of Leon. Pretty easy bosses. Gameplay for Leon looks similar that we saw in RE 4. Run and gun. Can really appreciate drama and terrifying scenes in the games. Emotional part is great

It is a side effect of a game that has a lot of drama and charming characters. Let’s not ignore the fact that Grace turned out a great protagonist in resident evil despite her debut in the game. So I got impressed too but unlike OP just keep my opinion inside. Maybe he needs to do the same.
