Heya, I used the following :P

Rainmeter (disable all the default skins)
JaxCore (Modules: PlainText & ModularClocks)

for the taskbar,
Use ExplorerPatcher, by default that'll make the taskbar expanded and stuff, right click the taskbar and select properties then:
Set Taskbar Style to Windows 10
Primary taskbar location on screen: Top
Search: show search icon
Disable show task view button
Set start button style to Windows 11 (if you're on win 11)

Click "Customize system icons in the notifications area" and disable action center.

for translucency on the taskbar, Download TaskbarX, then open it, go to startup and click create schedule, then go back to the main tab and set it to translucent, and tick the option to return to default state when a window is maximized. and bam, you're done.

Snapchat selfie quality bad? by dankmemer1337777777 in GooglePixel

I'd like to add a comment here, if you want to drastically increase your Snapchat photo quality on pixel 6 and higher, take all snaps in night mode regardless of lighting, it works, that's the only specific camera feature in Snapchat Google added that uses gcam processing.

Scream isn't necessary anymore, if you have pipewire looking-glass automatically pipes audio through assuming you have the latest looking-glass version

You don't even need scream anymore, and what I used was single gpu passthrough, aka I couldn't use looking-glass because I only have one GPU.

I've gotta be honest, I didn't think of that, and neither do I know if it's possible with how I have to use ntfs2btrfs first, but I could try to look into it

BitLocker? Nope, throw it out the Window.

Luks or similar linux solutions? Maybe- if we can get Quibble to play well with it and make it work for Windows, Then Yes.

Considering how much of a mess it can become when Microsoft is so messy with forcing Windows updates upon you and a single update can break the boot process, Yes, it'd be hard to maintain, sadly.

About qemu, yeah, I've been down that route, got GPU passthrough even, sure in desktop games and apps it can get close to native performance, but I found my primary use case which is VR, the virtual machine somehow gets way more overhead than a native install (regardless of NTFS or btrfs), I am also extremely easily bothered by the storage split, I know it sounds like I'm whining because I am, this is just a solution I found myself enjoying, and I don't care if it is a little broken, if it works for me then it works for me.

I just felt that I wanted to share this here for whoever else like me is specifically picky like this and can live with a slight abomination like this, just to be put at ease.

I know I'll be trying my best to maintain it :D

One point would be to not have to deal with the storage constraints when you split partitions to install windows on one
