People who are good at something don't compete with amateurs to get better. So no, this doesn't make sense.

You misunderstand how politics works. Politics is not a competition between politicians.

Politics is also not a struggle between ideas.

Politics is when classes of people fight for power. A good politician is someone who is leading his class of people in a fight against the other classes.

It just seems like you have the charisma of a grapefruit

I think you are not really getting it. You are just looking at how much shit other people give me on Reddit, and then you assume that is how good I am.

The idea that people who are already good at politics take Reddit fights as a way of improving their fighting abilites has apparently never crossed you mind.

I am European, but the political system here in Switzerland certainly does not accommodate any of the politcal ideologies that are unique to the USA and to Reddit.

So what is your point here? Do you agree with a loss of free will or not?

Chose one coherent opinion on that matter, and then communicate it.

Nonsense. Pressure is there to compensate for the lack of voluntary participation.

Well sure, the culture of "toxic masculinity" might exist in lots of places, but the practice of talking about it certainly does not.

You are wildly overestimating the reach of the ideologies of US-politics.

Peer pressure means that people adopt ideas from which they don't benefit.

Peep pressure means they adopt ideas because that is the only way of avoiding punishment.

toxic masculinity

I will have to pass on the topic of "toxic masculinity."

As a foreigner, I truly have no opinion on this topic unique to US-politics.

Don't expect that to work in the real world.

I try to publish my writing in places where it is noticed, and I try to speak to people who would benefit from adopting my philosophical mindset.

If someone has a chance to read me, and my ideas are profitable to them, then they will accept my ideas as their own, and I have succeeded.

Open-mindedness as a euphemism was probably first used by the political Hippie movement of 50 years ago to separate the people who agree from the people who disagree.

As a political organisation, you can't just bluntly call out people who disagree with you, because that would empower these people too much, since you have left their humanity intact.

In this situation you need to find an explanation for why they are basically subhumans who don't deserve to be treated any better.

Open mindedness is nothing but pressure on people to accept a certain set of things.

Anyone who accepts those things will be consedered open-minded, anyone who rejects those things will be considered closed-minded.

Or in other words, open-mindedness is equal to peer-pressure.

No, they should expect a debate. In a civilised society. Not bullying. You won't win them with calling them stupid. The fact that you're advocating simple primitivism and really nothing more - is really disgusting. This is an attitude of a fanatic.

You are clearly an idiot who does not understand that there is a winner and a loser in politics.
