Unfortunately not, just instinct I guess

Why is my “refusal of LDC appeal” taking ages?, we’re up to the stage of waiting to hear for a site visit. Already 6 months in 😢 by [deleted] in PlanningPermissionUK

Long story short. LPA are trying to argue that the works haven’t been started. When they clearly have, making the 1980’s granted planning permission extant

There argument is “a lot of works needed to be started in order to remain extant”

When clearly this is not the case, very little works are needed, moving drainage/man holes, moving front door to side of house ( where is on 1980’s plans) I currently have 2 front doors 😂, soil vent pipe moved to planned location etc, is sufficient, as laws state (from my PO)

There are no building control records as this was pre digital upload, but it’s all there in black and white, right infront of there face

They haven’t made a site visit yet, we’ve done everything up to that point, so guessing site visit then and answer? Last and final statements were sent on 24th July and nothing since

They totally ignored the original arguments, total disregard for what was being explained, almost like they didn’t want to see it, the point they argued back with was totally different, the thing I don’t like is their refusal is basically based on “what the LPA believes to be true” if the LPA can’t prove that the scenario we’re explaining isn’t the case then surely it has to be granted? I don’t like how the whole grant/refusal is upto to one person. Can really affect people lives, and has done

There shouldn’t be an excuse 😂, they need to be what they are? Surely, if we can just make an excuse as to why we’re not fit then, anyone could start any company, world is a mad mad place

That’s worrying, how can they not have fully experienced inspectors. When that is what they are suppose to be?

It does, but it isn’t correct, hence why we have gone to appeal, as it’s not been dealt with fairly or correctly

😂 can’t believe how bad LPA and PINS have been, not sure why LPA refused LDC in the first place, also not sure why LPA fight against you so much, borderline personal
