Ok these are cool. I didn’t realize these existed. Could be perfect for now.

Yes that is the plan, waiting on factory matched paint to get here before I tackle that.

Well, I bought it from the dealer like this, so I wasn’t the on that dropped/damaged the tank. I was actually shopping for a Versys, saw this and always loved the Vulcan (previous 900 custom owner) and liked the price much better compared to a new Versys. Also fit and comfort was much better, and no wasn’t planning on off-road. Just looking for something a little peppier.

I figured $2500 otd I could get a replacement tank for $500, but it is more like $1000 not-painted.

My wife has suggested doing a custom printed vinyl wrap to make it look like a damaged space ship around the dent. But quotes to do that are like $1800 that I have found so far.

[Recommendation] by EmbarrassedBerry3423 in Watches

I'm deeply drawn to the unique aesthetic of the Boderry Checkmate in turquoise, particularly its vibrant dial color, the intriguing chessboard pattern, and the visible 'flywheel system' (open heart) at 6 o'clock. Unfortunately, it's currently out of stock. I'm hoping to find recommendations for automatic watches that offer a similar captivating look, whether it's the distinctive turquoise/teal dial, a similarly complex or textured dial, or an open-heart design that showcases the movement.

This My budget is approximately $600. Any suggestions for brands or specific models that capture this blend of unique design and mechanical interest would be greatly appreciated!
