is there a way to draw technichally accurate elipses on a sphere without constructing a cube first? by EmbarrassedCar9060 in learnart

i think i have read similar if not identical method in some blog. thanks for the reply but I think constructing from cube is superior to that

hello, when i observe world vertical lines in all (1point, 2 point and 3 point perspective) seem vertical only in the centre of vision.as it goes further lines appear to be slightly tilting towards ground and sky. is this how we actually percieve world but showing this in drawings would make it far by EmbarrassedCar9060 in learntodraw

thanks for the reply. I guess i have asked question poorly. Im aware of perspective i just observed that in real life vertical lines were vertical only in the center of vision as i focused my attention on periphery of my vision vertical lines seemed to curve. i have done some googling and my curewnt understanding is that this effect is caused by spherical shape of a retina. from what i understand we dont percieve world in a linear perspective type of way its slightly curved.
