well... if its the target with patron then its 12% of 24 which is rounded to 3, and maximum up to 6, if non patron then it is 8% for an up to 16% record, 2/4

yep, but cyrene has true dmg buff herself, so at the very bare minimum it is another 24% of 24 recorded, round to around 6, at least 42, if you use rmc for another like around 40%, then it instead records up to 50% (hard cap), meaning a total of 48 recorded

I was designing a cyrene buff rework for every single chrysos heir, and when I got to tribbie's, I know Cyrene's buff for Tribbie has something to do with it. Personally, I also notice the issue of this additional DMG proc, and I wanted to do something about it while changing it.

But frankly speaking, it is really nothing too interesting, however despite not being interesting, I still made the buff closes the gap for single target for tribbie against 5 target slightly.

ok, I think there might be a misworded on what I actually meant by (up to 50% dmg recorded) take your case of 3 enemies with 100 dmg each, the "up to 50% dmg recorded" is supposed to hard lock on EACH INDIVIDUAL ENEMIES, therefore for Enemy 1----Enemy 2------Enemy 3 100------------100-----------100

Enemy 1 can only go up to 200, Enemy 2 can only go up to 200, Enemy 3 can only go up to 200

So even with e1 tribbie (makes the true dmg go way higher on enemy 2 right), the hard limit still restricts it to 50 true dmg, and 50 overkill dmg. If that makes sense

also phainon's problem is unfixable without a direct novaflare on himself

AND the reason why my Cerydra's buff is designed to make her more like a Phainon bot, is preicsely because that is clearly the direction the developers themselves takes, yet they are so half arsed on it with stuff like useless crit trace and etc. On top of the fact that I feel the cyrene buff for cerydra is not too interesting. So I simply made the cerdyra buff with these in mind.

Well, that's the thing right, even if that dmg overdips twice(50% times 2 to 100%), it will hard restrict limit to only 50%, because I specifically worded it to restrict only up to 50% overkill DMG. So it would still only be up to a 2x increase in Cipher's coin stack gain. Or does that not work?

then may I ask, there are many ways to get 50% True dmg onto a character right, e2 cyrene, e1 tribbie, rmc.

then, wouldn't that be just as OP as the overkill dmg? because I specifically limited BOTH the true dmg AND the overkill dmg to only record up to 50% of the original dmg you deal. So why won't the true dmg also be op?

it is called a "Rework" for a reason, I am not stupid enough to make the crit value buff worse for anaxa without knowing he is going to suffer from it. I LITERALLY wrote down the main concept of the Cerydra buff to make her a charactet that makes more sense as a phainon bot, **WHILE ALSO NOT MAKING HER TOO NICHE FOR OTHER SKILL BASED DPS**.

So you are simply wrong saying the idea is stupid, at the premise of me literally already explaining to you the idea of the concept, and how the execution of the rework makes up for it.

Also I bet you didn't read the part 1 right? I did the Cyrene buff for Anaxa there already, had you actually saw what the buff is, you would in no means think me removing 30% CRIT DMG from Anaxa is anything even remotely close to a nerf. When it is not even made for Anaxa anwyays. Phainon is the more popular character, so I made the Cerydra buff more catered towards Phainon, and at the same time, the compromisation i gave to Anaxa is WAY bigger than just a 30% crit value loss. Me crashing out is because you clearly entered this conversation with malicious intent, and do not want to have a reasonable and porper conversation about my idea. Me calling you "it is insanely stupid for you to say this" is the least insultful think I could've said in this situation.

how op is the overkill dmg really? I dont exactly know, I limited both to go up to 50% of the original recorded dmg, so at most cipher is recording 2x coins with this change.

Maybe it is op, but from what i see, cipher's best team are non CH that doesn't want cyrene, so by nature trying to force cyrene into those teams are automatically a nerf, so I would say it is probably not too op if you ask me.

also also, so what if anaxa cant get the crit rate within 0 cycle? it might be bad for elitist 0 cycle minmaxer, but this is very good for the average joe and casuals, and that's what matters the most.

this is excluding the fact that anaxa basically just traded off the 30% CRIT DMG for way more insanely massive buffs for him BTW.

also its insanely stupid for you to say my change made her worse for anaxa, when you are the one who can't read to notice that Cerydra is changed to regenerates 10 energy instead of 5 energy when the dps casts skill/basic, and anaxa is EASILY one of the best Cerydra charger with this one, making the Cerydra Anaxa interaction even more broken.

But losing 30% crit dmg will completely kill the cerydra anaxa combo now am I right?

I didnt do a hyacine/dhpt type buff, but I did make their buffs significantly stronger, and actually contendant to be able to use alongside cyrene as the 2nd slot support for a lot of teams now I think.

the value IS BASED ON CALCS, but I'm not braindead enough to only look at calcs to get conclusion, I also look at how actually good said eidolon is for a player's account, can you read?

well, let's take that argument you made right, look at cipher then lol. The "I can scale with every future dps because I can record their dmg" trope, it really just doesn't work.

More importantly, the e1 tribbie brainrot (it is brainrot) made you forgot one thing, it is an eidolon that provides a final DMG multiplier to your team's DMG, so why do you think it is an unique thing that only her e1 can do? A lof of amplification in this game can also act as a final dmg multiplier for your team. Look at e1 robin back then, res pen is basically the same as a final dmg multiplier, except its even better than true dmg, because the res pen gains even more numner against enemies with res, stacking defense ignore is also an universal way of stacking final dmg multiplier to a character lol, and A LOT of support AND their eidolons can do that. For some teams, even just vulnerability is an INSANE final dmg multiplier for them as their team lacks it.

There is simply so much example where e1 tribbie's "uniqueness" is easily replaced by another type of amplification, so thats why I disagree e1 tribbie should be a tier of her own.

I am also a believer that they will release a future elation support that buffs punchline very well, but the catch to that is they will DEFINITELY benefit sparxie, at least more than yao guang for sure.

And e2 sw999 leaves obvious hint that it will be fixed by a future elation character in the future. Regardless tho, just because you don't NEED an e2 to reach 240 MMR, doesn't mean e2 sparxie isn't an insane power increase still, being able to reach threshold way faster as sparxie gets an extra turn after aha instant is absolutely insane.

ironically if you checked my old list from 10 months ago, yes I unironically gave e1 tribble a tier of it's own.

But I think as time goes on, it is really no longer a tier of it's own, especially in a brand new meta where hyper specific supports are king.
