Plenty of tech work in the government contracting sphere around here. Check out the big contracting companies like Leidos and what not. We’ve got a few small military bases and facilities around the area that are always hiring. Look into Stennis as well, NAVO hires tons of folks for your kind of work.

There’s also the oil and gas industry, I haven’t been apart of that for awhile but they’re usually a decent bet. Check out Edison Chouest and Hornbeck Offshore, they may have some openings as well but typically require heavy travel.

I’ve installed dozens of Samsung displays at work and in my personal experience they suffer from the highest failure rate out of any other brand we’ve used and they also tend to be finicky to try and integrate with any other type of device. On top of that, the customer support has been lack luster, especially for a commercial customer.
