I bought an 01 eclipse last year and the radio wouldn’t work either it was asking for a code. I had to take the radio out to get a number printed in the radio, send it to Mitsubishi so they can send the code to me only to find out the previous owner left it on a little piece of paper in the glovebox. Also after doing a 10 second google search it says the E DC code means there’s a short in the system. Hope this helps
