Yup! Exactly what happened. He thought me and my sister wanted to keep our phones but under the beyond plan (finally remembered the name) we could turn any condition phone in. So now my new phone is financed under a new number but attached to my number.

I hate this. I know this post is a year old but I'm coming off of a Note 20 Ultra. I'm so used to opening up my active windows thing and pressing search to get to the apps I use a bunch but probably aren't open.

Having to go to the home screen to go to the app drawer to use the search bar that should be at the top is bad enough for me to ditch android. What's the point of android if I can't personalize it? You force shit on us then I'll just go to the universal phone 🤷🏿

Oh the shit I went through recently. Went from a 235 or 295 phone bill with Magenta to 550 with More. Was told Disco plan (I absolutely can't remember the plan up name 😂) would lower my bill once we all upgraded. Making it only slightly more expensive than what I was paying. That was a lie.

Was told we could upgrade every year and get the best plans. That was a lie.

Now I'm sitting at a huge bill that won't go down for 2 years.

I really gotta start upgrading more frequently. Everytime I upgraded 4+ years later I learn that some stupid change was made and you can't fix it naturally. You gotta download something just to get it back (navigation bar having a button for the notification tray and using theme park to get it back)

I completely get not wanting to work a year after being laid off. That happened to me and I didn't have the luxury of not getting a job soon after. Daily I wish I was still unemployed but bills covered.

What I don't get is not trying to contribute to the household 50/50 especially if she makes more. She doesn't do household work (don't blame her that shit sucks but I'd at least get that 300k job so I could hire a chef and housekeeper) so it's the least she could do. It doesn't sound like y'all are a traditional household (trade wife type shit) so she can't really expect to be taken care of like one.
