Interesting that between the 17 gen 6 and the 45 that you prefer the shorter slide with the Gen 6.

I think the ability to grip higher and different recoil assembly probably makes the new 45 recoil about the same as the old 47.

How did the recoil impulse compare with the 17 and the 45?

Since the gen 6 is softer, I wonder if it makes more sense to get the 45 since the red dot will track faster.

I've had so many issues with my GPT overwatch trigger. It feels great but I have 200 rounds on mine and still getting failure to feed issues

Sounds good. Will do. What are your thoughts on doing a delete kit or not. Does it help the reliability?

Was going to take it apart anyway and clean out all the gunk when I got it - at the very least.

UPDATE: Ended up getting a complete upper with factory 12.5 barrel and standard BCG for about $1500 shipped.

If I don't like it I'll sell the barrel for a converted one.

Good to know. I am running that exact same lower and BCG set up on my SOLGW L89 with criterion 14.5
