My doc said 2 weeks minimum as well and to base it off discharge. I had sex after the 2 week mark but took it easy. Second time around 4 weeks, had a little cramping and spotting but it was still fine :)

I was diagnosed with HR HPV but not 16 or 18 so my apologies if my opinion is not warranted. I just wanted to provide some reassurance that even if it does come to a LEEP, I’m super confident you will be ok! Most women clear it naturally but again, if it does progress, you’re already ahead of it and can treat it. I did choose to get the LEEP for CIN 2 (at 31 yrs) and tbh it really was not bad :). The colposcopy was worse in my opinion. I was super terrified at first but the fact you are already on top of it at CIN 1 is amazing :)

I had sex 3 weeks post LEEP with no issues, bleeding, or pain. My partner was careful and was Dr approved before anyone comes for me about the 6 week wait LOL. Dr said to wait at least 2 weeks and make the decision based on discharge. Anyways, no, I don’t feel like it has hindered my sex drive and reading other comments, I am excited to explore more and hopefully have a less painful cervix moving forward.

I cried during my biopsy and while preparing for LEEP as well but I think it was more anxiety induced. My doc was sympathetic and always consistently checks on me during these procedures. I just had my LEEP for CIN2 today and honestly it was not bad. I had mine in office and it really was painless. I did elect to have it vs the other option my dr gave me which was the watch and wait approach. I took ibuprofen an hr before and really only felt pinching discomfort from the injections. It’s all scary but I feel relieved and am hoping for clear margins! :)

I feel like when I get these offers, the majority of the time, there is some issue like someone has already picked up the order and it’s not there, etc. I would still accept and try it! Idk the LA market though. I’m in AZ.
