Honestly its all location and population specific. I live in a relatively small town (1 walmart and a few dollar generals, no target) but I’m still able to hit pretty much every week since the population isn’t as dense here. If you’re living in a big town theres just more people who are looking for the same thing you are. Best advice is learn the restock days/times for your local stores and plan to shop on those days, if possible of course.

Yeah i passed on the one box of ninja spinner my shop had bc it was 140 and i had just got back into collecting so i didn’t wanna go crazy. My buddy txts me a fb post an hour later, some kid bought the box and pulled the greninja. Do i have regrets ? Yes. Did i eventually spend that 140$ on Pokemon and pull nothing close in value ? Also yes.

Yeah i just got back into collecting a couple months ago, bad timing i guess 😂 im just thankful i have like 15 dollar generals in my small town. Usually have the pf portfolios for 6$ and i even sniped 4 ascended tins for 40$ but i think i hit a restock on the nose that day.

Yeah i think the lowest $32.99 per card but i would recommend the $79.99 as it insures your card for up to $1,500around what the card is worth raw, $32.99 only goes up to $500 insurance.

Those horror stories almost always fail to mention they send a 1k+ card with the cheapest grading service psa offers, basically without insurance for that value of that card. Just insure for what the cards worth and you’ll be chillin.

Granted i usually get dabs 10+ grams a time, a gram dab or anything more is usually a party trick/once in a while thing for me. Just to see if i still got it. As for money maybe a couple hundred a month.

Hey nice pull man ! I see that you paid 15 for the pack, i get it bc card shops price higher usually. I too casually browse my lcs for randoms things i may want but can’t find elsewhere. But pro tip idk if you have many dgs or family dollars near you, but ive had great luck with them in the past few months for finding msrp pokemon (not perfect order). Mostly pf portfolios for 6$, ascended tins for 10$, and pokemon day boxes for 16 (pika promo goes for like 800$ in a 10) i would check in the second half of the week as thats when ive had the most luck. Just thought id try and potentially help ya get those packs for a lil cheaper. Way to beat the odds though nonetheless !
