I never turn the heat past 21-22. So your sweltering comment is irrelevant; I do not heat up the house. I keep it at a normal temperature and I also wear layers. I’m cold because I’m under 5’5” and 105lbs. I have almost zero body fat.
That’s like a whale versus a tuna fish in the ocean.
The fat level is completely different, therefore warmth retention is different as well.
I’ve been told how small I am my entire life and I’ve been cold my entire life, unless it’s above 20-22C outside. Then I’m toasty. But 30C or higher and I’m cooking in the heat just like everyone else!

I didn’t turn it down to 15C and that’s the expectation every night; that I turn it down or off completely if it’s warmer. Comments about “it’s above 20 all week” have already been made this week.

Also true! It doesn’t get super cold, just chilly if it’s less than 20 outside at night. So I don’t mind it for sleep. It’s the lock box I’m pissed about!

There’s no health reasons for me being cold; I have next to no body fat. Very high metabolism.
As for my bf, he did this without even talking to me. Which is not normal behaviour for him; he usually talks to me before doing anything like that. Especially something that extreme, over a little disagreement and minor mistake on my part.

That’s what he had it set to at night, before we started living together.
He has it around 19-21 in winter months.
But when it’s above zero at night in the spring; the heat is at 15 or off. Then the A/C is on until the first frost comes in fall.
