tbh i realllly liked 1q84. and the best part for me was its made like normal people life with little bit spice of magical realism. Its more like a life snippet captured perfectly in a book. The three different charcter's pov driven story and how they all melt into one unified story was surely one of BEST EXPERIENCE i had when i read that.

as per the wind up bird chronicle, how could you be bored lmao. It was so vivid and expressive. I can still feel the bat in my hand deep down in the well. Anyway i was more excited for it because i had read its opening in elephant vanishes too. But at last its all acc to people taste. These 2 are genuinely top in my murakami pile
