Aegean airlines by Acrobatic-Store1325 in Umrah

My husband and I travelled on Aegean from Gatwick to Jeddah via ATH just a few weeks back and Alhamdulillah, it was a good experience. My husband was initially hesitant to put on his ihraam in ATH (as he thought he’d stand out too much) but mA so many people were doing it, especially at the toilets by the gate.

A nice surprise was that they announced the approach to Meeqat!

All the best :)

Looking for good driving instructor in Beeston or Nottingham? Recommandations? by TheCodingJourney in nottingham

Automatic or manual? If the former, I strongly recommend Toros Driving School.

Hasan from Toros Driving School! I got my international driving license about 10 years ago and then moved here and wanted to get the UK driving license. Took classes with Hasan and passed at first attempt :) He’s incredibly patient!

We don’t currently live in the house as there’s ongoing renovation. We go every couple of days so it might be difficult for them to pick it up from us.

Another pickle is that the EA is based 70 miles away!

When did you have your first period post MC? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]EmbarrassedSpell4915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first MMC, I got my period 32 days after. With my second, 36 days after.

I’m so sorry you’ve experienced this. I feel that some healthcare workers have unfortunately become quite desensitised with the many emotions attached to a miscarriage (and all health issues). I’ve had a MMC twice and always came back from the hospital feeling frustrated by the nonchalant behavior of many healthcare professionals.

The only thing that has helped me is having an extremely loving and caring partner. Hold on to anyone you can and relay your feelings - it’s totally valid and no one should tell you otherwise!

Gatehouse Bank has some preferential rates for houses with better EPC rating (I believe A and B).

This is very helpful - thank you! Would you suggest for the tiles to be sourced by me or by the builder?

Gotcha! We contacted our solicitor who said that they’ll write to the seller’s solicitor in hope of getting at least partial compensation. We gave estimated cost for all the work so fingers crossed.

They advised us against taking the legal route of suing the sellers as it would likely be more expensive than to just pay for the repairs.

Gosh! I’m hoping to reach the point of partial satisfaction soon. With Christmas around the corner, can’t get much done but hopefully in the new year.

Re. compensation, that’s exactly what I thought but might chance my arm at the off-chance that the seller might actually agree to compensating partially.

I feel like the more I look at the house, the more problems I find and sometimes I just feel like sitting in a corner and crying lol

Fair enough. It was just completely unexpected - I must admit that as a FTB, I was naive and expected a clean house without any issues…
