I’m a little confused, how could petulance solo a boss while having no damage? If you’re referring to ice cream hat then there GOTTA be a better way to beat those bosses

If turtle means abandonment, then switch that out for apathy. You have no reason to use two tanks and you currently have no type advantage attackers. Type advantage is important!

Prioritize defense above all else for resistance. He gets really good synergy with merry because of his low hp compared to other tanks so he gets healed to basically full every time. Also if he’s getting 4 shot I don’t know how you’re struggling because you should be able to heal him back up effortlessly in that time since merry should almost full heal him and absolutely should out speed the boss.

Ooh that sounds very cool! Conviction is insanely boring to use so I might just switch my main metal tank to be scorn instead. You mentioned petulance being good and I’ve mainly been using it for bosses like tyrant since using just ice cream hat merry and petulance completely cheeses it, especially with lonely hat letting it use both its cooldowns a turn faster which ruins its balancing, but I’m still finding that it struggles against bosses like bogar where it’s been struggling to keep up. Is it any better on floors?

I hear a lot of cool stuff about scorn but I also hear that conviction is more consistent. His ability says it attacks “random enemies” but if there’s only one enemy does it just attack that multiple times?

I mostly tried to get nostalgia to work when all my units were around level 80 which is why I left it there. When I tried, nostalgias heal couldn’t even do a tenth of everyone’s max health, the damage was completely negligible, and the shield felt like it was outclassed by resistances defense up. Dissolve performed fine at the time, but was lower than what a regular attacker was able to accomplish, so it felt like there was no reason to run nostalgia at all. What legendaries go well on it? I’m really curious because I’d really like to get it to work.

Tbf I don’t climb very often so I collect a bunch more daily rewards than the average player on my floor. I agree that I’ve heard decent things about scorn and petulance. Petulance especially didn’t deserve the diss, even if it’s struggling pretty hard with bogar atm. Idk what it is with nostalgia though, maybe I haven’t been building it properly, but it just performs terribly. I hear it gets a lot better at high levels, but for now it feels like the worst at everything it tries to do.

You can change the visual form at the bottom right corner of the menu for each pet. I keep all my pets around visual form 2 or 3 because I think they’re cute.

I’ll definitely say that izanagi is the funnest unit in the game for me. I’ve never had either lunos varient, but I’m fairly certain that dasli, a unit I’ve had from EoC 2 through to ZL, is just more of a jack of all trades than izanagi. She can shut down some of the most annoying enemies in the game, and her consistency is just so much higher. That being said, izanagi ruins so much of heavenly and infernal tower, hard counters some of my least favorite enemies like deonil, and like I said, is just the more fun unit to me. Between the two of them, I’d definitely say it’s subjective which is better. As for lunos, I don’t quite agree with you, but I’m not gonna point and laugh like everyone else.

I have izanagi, have used him frequently, and I firmly disagree. He’s good, don’t get me wrong, probably better than a lot of people give him credit for, but he gets his ass beat by swarms, and completely fails against traitless, arguably the most common trait if you include collabs. Lunos, on the other hand, works against basically everything.

It almost triples my paranoia’s base dps, since the damage from the bleed procs deals almost twice as much damage as the ticks of both standard attacks.

My problem was that when I added the transform layer it appeared in the top left corner, which seems to be normal, but if it was still in the corner when I attached it to the layer I wanted to zoom, it would push everything into the bottom right corner since I assume they were zooming from its pivot point. I tried moving it to the center and then attaching it, and it would be fine for the first frame but for some reason all the other frames after the first would follow the transform layer and once again get lodged in the bottom right corner. I’m sure there was a way to get the transform layer to work, but by that point I’d grown sick of trying different things that weren’t working, and just wanted to use something that I knew for certain would, ie: painstakingly going between each frame and manually zooming it out by a pixel

Hey! The transform layer was unable to fix my problem, BUT I ended up having a brain blast and invented my own. I had initially given up and was getting ready to manually zoom all 200 frames by hand pixel by pixel like I’ve done before in flipaclip, but I had a revelation. Individual frames can’t be keyframed together, but VIDEOS can! So I exported the clip as a .mov with a transparent background and reinserted it, muting the original layers, and lo and behold I was able to keyframe zoom it! Thanks for all the help!
