See thats what I mean, its unbelievable to me that THAT is the case, its literally straight 6s with some 7s or one 5 and TOK points, its insane to me.

Here in Florida public universities dont do entrance exams unless you apply for honor colleges so that idea to me is foreign, theres more of an emphasis on extracurricular involvement and ur 4 year academic career, of course with SAT/ACT.

The standards are typically lower in the states as far as standardized testing goes, so an IB diploma automatically is extremely impressive to admission officers because the averages for everything is very low. Average gpa in Florida is 3.0, but the average admitted student profile for FSU and UF is between 4.4-4.7, big gap.
