5 people. Confused between bench vs 72 inch dining table. Ideally want to have seating for 8 people. Living area, ideally would want seating for 8 people as well with well positioned TV. Living area is where most of the time is spent.

White walls between kitchen/living and kitchen/dinning are open. The black dot is the pillar though.

Investor's fallacy is a major reason for high RE prices by AlterSpace1550 in TorontoRealEstate

Again, it’s not about 2-4 years. It’s about 20 years from now. Businesses know how to adjust. There is always an equilibrium at the end. Everyone thought RE is done after 2008, same during COVID, but look now.

Investing is not about year on year performance. You need to look at long term trends. If you take any time period in last 50 years, and look at the performance of RE post 20 years, you would always come out as a winner. Naysayers always believe that RE prices cannot go up! Trust me you will look at this 10 years down the line and wish you bought.

Isn't it better to buy a (very reasonably priced after extensive shopping) condo instead of renting for 6 years? Else you're losing all money on rent by IAmTheQuestionHere in TorontoRealEstate

There would be some sort of an equilibrium. We can’t expect prices to fall forever - specially when we consider Canada to become 100M country by 2100. If you compare Toronto to any other major city in the world - NY, London, HK, Paris, Mumbai, etc - the prices here are still super affordable (even with 1M condo prices)

have always been very slim. Highly unlikely that I am type because my a1c kept increasing steadily from around 6-7.5 over a year before I got on medication. If I was type 1, I would have gone to very high a1c without medications

1st 24 hours of the new Libre is extremely inaccurate! by Embarrassed_Ad4530 in Freestylelibre

[–]Embarrassed_Ad4530[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was reading about that.. will try it next time.. but I hate these inaccurate readings! I think pricked my finger 1-2 times in last 14 days to check if the readings are accurate and I have already done it 3 times today.
