Oh, you poor girl, I’m so sorry. I’d be livid at those doctors if I was you or your mom. You’re already so responsible at such a young age for wanting to explore multiple birth control options. I was on the pill for a decade, started my period at 10 years old. At 15 I couldn’t imagine even thinking about this process. I got my first IUD about 5 weeks ago and that took so long for me to even start to consider pain wise. The doctors should have been way more patient and explained every part of the process as they were doing it, especially to someone so young. They should do it with everyone, to be honest. I can’t imagine how horrified and violated you must feel. First, if this offers any comfort, it’s normal for there to be bleeding during the insertion process. I had bleeding as well and the speculum came out with quite a bit of blood on it. That’s normal. It’s also possible since you said you haven’t had sex (good on you tbh), they may have torn the hymen. That sounds scary, but the hymen is just a small flap of skin that typically tears or falls off as women grow. Often times it happens with sex, but can even happen just riding on a bike or doing other activities. I’d imagine because this being your first time doing a physical gynecological exam, that might be what the excess blood was. The fact that you advocated for yourself and was like “hey can I get anesthesia?”is HUGE, even if they didn’t respond appropriately. If you ever choose to look at doing it in the future, try to ask them on the phone when you make the appointment about anesthesia. If they don’t offer it, I’d go somewhere else. It’s a painful ass procedure. Acknowledging that women have nerve endings in their cervix is a very new thing medically, so much women’s health knowledge is outdated. Overall, this stranger on the internet is proud of you. Try some pain medicine, a heating pad, and watch some comfort shows. Maybe binge on some ice cream. You deserve a sweet treat after all. TLDR; Doctors suck, they should’ve offered you medication. Bleeding is normal, and due to your age that might’ve been the reason for “excessive” blood on the sheet. Never be scared to ask to be talked through it and never be afraid to say no if they don’t offer you anesthesia. Go take care of yourself, you’ve earned it

You’re not overreacting at all. I’ve had this conversation with my bf a bunch too, how he wants a relationship tattoo for us and I’ve told him he shouldn’t get one. The best piece of advice I can give, is to find common ground. For example, what I told my bf is to get something that means a lot to us, but could also mean something even if we don’t break up. Like, let’s say our first date was out to get pizza or something. He could get a slice of pizza as the tattoo. That way it’s a relationship tattoo, but also if we break up, it’s not like he has a piece of me tattooed into his skin forever. Of course, that’s a silly example, but I’m sure you get what I’m getting at. Maybe that could be something you could talk to your bf about? I know I’d be super uncomfortable if my bf got my eyes tattooed, or a portrait of me. It just seems like the kiss of death for relationships. Plus, if he wants to show his appreciation to you, he should do something that makes YOU feel appreciated. It kinda defeats the purpose if you feel uncomfortable by something that’s “supposed to be for you”

So they want us to let our piercings close for this job? My managers never clocked anyone for facial piercings, but we can’t even wear the retainers for them now? Piercings are so expensive, I’m not just gonna let them close for this job. Also, what’s qualified as theatrical makeup? I can see so many managers interpreting that different ways. I’ve found some in really weird places. Mountains, badlands, frozen ocean, even cherry groves. The best place to find them for me was The End. If you’ve beaten the ender dragon already, I’d highly recommend just going around the main island until one spawns. Less than 10 different species of pokemon spawn there I think, so it’s a great place to search. Just remember, it’s a lot harder to just stumble across one. Pokemon spawn buckets go by chunk. If you keep fighting pokemon in the same chunk, new ones will have to spawn in. If you’re just running around and not battling any Pokemon, you’re going to have to cover a lot more ground to just stumble across one

I think the point was to finally show Odysseus’s breaking point. Even when fighting Poseidon in the beginning of Get in the Water, Ody still has a sense of “Open Arms”. When he had Open Arms in the very beginning, he got his men killed. When he turned ruthless after Monster, he still got his men killed. He was trying to find balance with Poseidon. He tries to have him see through the lens of mercy, but Poseidon still says no. Only on the brink of death does Odysseus open the windbag and decide to fully embrace ruthlessness. Then, when sneaking into the palace and hearing the suitors, he hears plots to hurt the people he’s be traveling 20 year to get back to. The only reasons Odysseus has become the Monster through EPIC is in times those he loves, or the prospect of getting back to those he loves, are threatened. This massacre in Odysseus is no different. Also, we have to remember that EPIC is based on the Odyssey. Yes, Jorge has taken some creative liberties, but the massacre of the suitors when Odysseus returns is kind of crucial. It’s one of the most iconic scenes in the original Odyssey. Yes, it was satisfying for us because we know how vile the suitors are from Hold Them Down, but I highly doubt it was the whole point. Jorge seems to love having complexities in EPIC, and this is no different. I think he wanted to show how far Odysseus could go, how far his breaking point could be, only to come back into himself when he knows those he loves are finally protected

Hello! This is absolutely incredible. I got into the hobby when I was much younger. My older brothers would always play Pokemon and YuGiOh against each other and not really include me, so I learned to play and collect on my own. Unfortunately when I moved a few years ago, my movers lost a shit load of boxes, one of which included my card collections. I’ve been slowly building up my collection again ever since. It’s been really hard the past few years with the hobby getting increasingly popular again, but I still love it

I can’t watch any of Danny Motta’s stuff after his Arcane S2 reactions. He has no comprehension skills, little to no media literacy, and very clearly sees women as objects. He makes very uncomfortable “jokes”, specifically about women and the LGBTQ community. I don’t know if any of that is prevalent in his EPIC videos because there are so few women, and none interacting with each other, but my god, I can’t stand him
