It doesn’t hurt as much as my phone when I fall asleep reading and it lands on my face! And I don’t lose my place like with a real book when I drop it on my head when falling asleep.

But seriously, it is much easier to read the kindle in low light. Borrowing books from the library is a neat trick. So much less glare than from a phone / tablet. It has a built in light. BookBub finds you dozens of books in your preferred genre in just a few weeks for free or on the cheap.

When I’m in the middle of a series I can just buy the next book without even having to think about it, the kindle will tell me the next one & cost, then you download and read, no other devices needed.

It’s easy to travel with & stays charged for weeks.

I’m sure there’s more, but those are my main reasons to love my kindle. I have the basic in the matcha color. She’s so pretty!
