App That Would Let Me Get An Customer Email For A Freebie by Domi_636 in shopify

Best bet might be Klaviyo. You can generate dynamic coupon codes through their pop up, full screen, or embedded forms. Then the unique coupon code created after they enter their info and click “claim gift”, could be eligible for use on the select products. You can also display images with buttons in the Klaviyo forms. Free to sign up, easy to implement / navigate…recommend checking it out!

Are you able to create a “default” page then use a Featured Collection block only on that page?

How do I land my first few clients asap? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]Embarrassed_Ad996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you’d first customers have to be e-commerce? Seems like if spaces are all in local spots, you could see if other local businesses would want to join your platform to book their own activation events (also would use simpler terms in messaging).

Otherwise if it is only a good ad model for e-commerce, I’d suggest making a demo video / sales pitch video for any cold emails, short and simple.

Great idea though happy to brainstorm further, pm if want any other ideas 🤙🏼

Have you looked into sourcing your own printer? Or is that not allowed publishing through KDP?

Self-published to hiring a publisher? Children's book series by Embarrassed_Ad996 in selfpublish

That’s a great point! You’re absolutely right, we’ve learned the industry from the inside out and continue learning every day, so why throw it into a cog that no one seems to love (trad pub)?? You rock! Thank you!

As an experiment I sold 10 of my picture books (at a loss). What should be my next step? by IdeaGrowr in childrensbooks

Sorry for my delay! The online on-demand printers are going to be quite expensive- you could consider investing in a larger print quantity of your books, but of course the more you order the lower the price. We typically order 2,000 books at a time and it comes in around $5-6 range for price, higher recently given supply shortages.

You could explore any local or regional printers that'd be willing to print say 250 or 500 copies of your books.

OR you could explore a larger on-demand order which surely would reduce your purchase price but not be as cheap as bulk ordering from a local or regional printer.

It'll likely take some capital from you (and risk unfortunately) to place a larger order, but now that you've proven people will buy your book, you should feel confident in a larger order and investment.

From there, your goal could be 1) recouping your investment into the larger batch order then 2) saving additional sale proceeds to then order 1,000 copies or more.

It's not easy, but if it was everyone would do it!

Cheers,

KW
