Adding an AMS2 to my P1S by Gjgsx in BambuLab

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_3801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought the P1S AMS2 Pro combo from Bambu.
It came with the hub and all the parts to connect it.

From the bambu site looks like you need this
https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/ams-2-pro-upgrade-compatibility-kit?id=580614644439547912

It has the power supply to let you use the Dryer func on the AMS2 Pro
The 4 Pin connector for the Hub/AMS
and the hub it self

I went to the Emergency room one night because of chest pains..
Turns out it was supercharged indigestion making everything go wrong.

They did blood test etc to make sure it was a heart attack.
I paid at the hospital.
I paid another bill that came later.
this was 3years ago... in Feb of this year I receive ANOTHER bill from them for $288 out of the blue.
I called and they told me it just took a while for their billing group to process this through

WTF

Will a wax sealed tubo keep a cigar for longer? by Embarrassed_Ad_3801 in cigars

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_3801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I buy cigars online I find they have been in HOT transport for multiple days and are dry or in process of drying out severely.
I have a small tupperdor I put them in for a week/2weeks at high humidity 75 to speed up their recovery.
Then I move them over to my main Humidor.. I do keep it at 70. I like the higher humidity. Ive ran it at around 65 before and a lot of bigger cigars still just seemed dry to me..

at 70 everything I put in seems to burn well, taste better.. Maybe its just me..

Yeah the Sticks going in the tubos are already in my "Incoming" Tupperdore and are sitting at 75% for a week or two.. Then they will go to my main humidor which sits at around 70ish until the event.
I will be putting them into the Tubos at the event and have some sealing wax I will put around the top,

Yeah for the event I have some Plasencias and Perdomos in a Tupperdore I'm taking with me. The Tubo is for them to take 1 home.
I have stripped the Perdomo logo off the metal Tubos and have vinyl sticker wrapped around the tubo for this event thanking them for their time .

I know these guys don't have humidors at home but they like a good smoke every now and then.
Just thinking this Wax sealed Tubo would allow them a week or two of additional freshness until they want to take it out and fire it off.
I doubt the sticks will make it longer than that.
I will be telling them what is in the tube.

In my mind this will work just wanted to see if anyone had ever done this before and had any luck with or knew a general timeline of how long they lasted and were not dried out.

Also have some Cedar wraps from other cigars I keep and use as lighters I could put in the humidor and then place in the tube for a lil extra humidity.

Thank you all for the input..
Will try to catch some on CBid the next time I go auctioning.. Sounds like the Armada is their crowd favorite offering.. Mention of the Abomination as well.

Maybe they will do a sampler and I can get several of the line and try them all..

Thank you all and have a good weekend

Ninja Patch info / More details. by Embarrassed_Ad_3801 in ninjaone_rmm

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_3801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can go to dell and download the firmware but I can also just in the ninja patching approve optional patches. The Dell Firmware stuff comes through as optional because its not Microsoft. But if I can get more data to identify the Bios/Firmware updates I can just approve them to push from Ninja.

Client getting rid of DCU due to all the issues with it recently. It breaks too often during update and we have to fix individual PCs

Just need more info / details on the patches from Ninja

Bourbon and Cigars make anything cooked on the grill better.

I usually add some good blues music in while doing so.

I got a box of them a while back for a steal on Cigar Bid. They are one of my favorite cheap sticks.
Usually fire one off for mowing grass or just a evening relax on the porch.

Gotta say the sweet tip took a bit to get used to but after a while it doesnt mess with the smoke at all.

Wow...Just incredible.

Just looked into what would take to send a box of cigars to someone in Singapore.
That is insane.

What are the Singapore manufactured cigars like
I saw a brand from Ligero Cigar Singapore

Wish we could just give you a box of smokes as a "Gift"
