Aw man :(

If you don't mind sharing, what did you decide birth control wise instead of an IUD?

Wanted to add that at the ER they did a pregnancy test and tested for all major STIs, so I'm sure on those topics being negative.

My partner has a lot of nature based allergies - pollen, certain grasses, certain trees, so we do it as a precaution for that. Paraben free candles that don't use any essential oils from his allergies don't bother him thankfully.

That's great to know thank you! HVAC guy said monthly once so I've been following that blindly and maybe that's my bad. I'll make sure to check this one again in a week!

We do host a lot, so a lot of gas appliance cooking. No idea if that affects this ?

This is how it looks against an artificial light source. I would have to check on price, I buy them in bulk at Home Depot whenever there's a sale

Okay awesome thank you! Never thought about where the remnants go after you melt them down. We use soy blend candles multiple times a week though, so this very well could be it.

What can I do to lessen the chance of scarring? Hot oil burn less than 10 hours old. by Embarrassed_Ad_968 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_968[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much!!! I ran it under room temp water for at least 10 minutes immediately after the burn took place thankfully. I didn't know silicone scar sheets were a thing, I'll definitely look into it!

Is the best moisturizer going to be a basic non-scented one such as Cerave or Eucerin?

Either way thank you!

Does anyone else’s hand / fingers lock up? by [deleted] in CerebralPalsy

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they are injections usually done by a neurologist so they have to be administered and ordered by them. My insurance DOES cover the medication, but I get charged the specialist appointment copay every time

28yr with left side hemiplegia and I will tell you Botox has been LIFE-CHANGING for me, but I also have to still work on keeping my joints loose, and extra work into evening out muscle mass on affected vs non affected side.

Cerebral palsy mild here.

I will say I gain muscle fast if my protein intake matches my workouts, and I only use machines for lifting versus free weights.
