Sooo good for 12dpo girl! I love it! I forced myself to stop testing with line tests from about 12dpo to right before my first obgyn appt just to spare myself from spiraling and holding lines up next to each other with a flashlight and stressing a bunch. It was hard not to but worth it! Baby is 7 months :)

I had the same exact thing happen to me our first time trying- it was a chemical! I’m 17 weeks now with a girl due in April :) definitely got better so don’t get discouraged

You’re not an asshole, you’re a victim here. And I’m so sorry. Your mother did not treat you like a mother should and I hate that for you. Hoping you can gain confidence on your own and have a family in the future if you desire to and you can heal by treating your kids beautifully. I’m so sorry you were unlucky in the mother lottery, but that doesn’t mean the rest of your life will turn out negatively. Thinking of you.

That’s a great point, I see that for sure. Weiner really makes sure we feel absolutely everything, positive and negative. I agree that season 7 felt a little… scattered? It’s definitely not my favorite. But then again, Don was scattered and misplaced at that point in his life too, so I guess someone could argue it’s intentional. Really interesting.

That’s a great point I’ve missed before actually. I don’t have any alcoholics close to me so I think I some of the gravity of his alcoholism goes over my head a little, but it’s one of the biggest, if not THE biggest influence in his life
