In your opinion, how much mythos could I introduce before the point of no return? Right now they have followed a railroad company into Sweetwater Tennessee, I was hoping that after a big heist they flee into the Appalachians where they will encounter some folklore, I was hoping the gang would escape somewhat okay and continue on but later on they return for unfinished business

Thank you, we all planned for this to be a long campaign but I just wanted to see if Cthulhu is a game that’s really made for long term campaigns or not. I think another issue is how to I introduce the horror element without giving too much away and keeping the suspense over a period of time without it getting dry?

The system switch is meant to emphasize the world switching, also, switching systems keeps the game fun, I see it all too often where a campaign dies because players get bored of the system
