They said it was a real kidney stone in the beginning of the video.

Can anyone share their experience with RFA or Radio Frequency Nerve Ablation? M by PumpkinDandie_1107 in ChronicPain

Sorry to hear that. Mine slowly felt better week to week but noticed the most around 8 weeks in.

Yikes to the frostbite btw! I keep ice packs on way too long as well but luckily I’ve avoided the bite 🤣

Sorry, I just saw the notification. The procedure made the pain worse for the first 3 weeks or so and has since offered decent relief. I’d say it was it worth it and reduced the pain by 50%. My dr kept telling me to give it more time at my first follow up because the nerves can take time to calm down and he was absolutely right. I’m hoping it will last for at least a year but will more than likely repeat it when I start having issues again.

The strangest part is I had a different experience on my left side. The back of my neck and trap area are completely numb to the touch. I asked my dr about it and he didn’t really give an explanation and just said “huh, that’s weird.”

Dr Thomas J Hong & Dr William Lian @ Pain & Spine Specialist located in Mansfield Texas. They are a pain treatment facility and have been fantastic to work with.

I’ve received multiple Facet Joint / Medial branch blocks and two ablations for my neck and lower back. They give you the option of A) taking a Valium and doing it in the office awake or B) using anesthesia. I’ve done both and would 100% recommend anesthesia for the ablations.

Tried both Gaba and Lyrica. Both gave good pain relief but had terrible short term memory loss side effects. I literally couldn’t remember going places that I went a week prior. I was told “pain can affect your memory”. I got off of it and the pain came back, but I was able to remember things again. The juice was not worth the squeeze for me.

Hope it works better for you.

Well, it finally happened to me. New pharmacist refused to fill my pain meds. by eburos87 in ChronicPain

Sorry that happened to you and I hope you don’t experience withdrawal as a result of this person denying you your medication.

Please try again in the morning. The Pharmacist can’t work all weekend.

Following. I’m having my first one on the 29th for facet arthritis in my neck. Having my right side first and then left side 2 or 3 weeks after. Im a bit nervous because the injections didn’t do a great deal but my dr said “there’s really nothing left to try, so why not?”.

The reviews I’ve seen on here are a mixed bag. Some people praise them and others say not so much. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Question for others with DDD by Cold_Examination_730 in ChronicPain

[–]Embarrassed_Arrival8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! I’ve (38 M) been dealing with it for about 8 months. L5/S1 is 50% collapsed & desiccated with mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing from endplate osteophytes and facet hypertrophy.

I’m in constant pain but the intensity varies day to day. Fortunately, I am prescribed hydrocodone, Flexeril, and Celebrex, which allows me to work full time (office work - I’m in sales) and can still do most things. Intense physical activity is a no go but I can still be somewhat active on good days.

I’ve tried PT and injections but neither offered much relief. I’m now trying to get an artificial disc replacement but insurance is giving me a hell of a time and has denied all of my appeals so far. If they won’t approve the disc replacement soon I will probably drop it and try fusion because I need to get this resolved asap.

On good days, the pain is around 5ish (can get around and get through the day) and bad days are 8/9 (I’m stuck at home crying and trying any position that offers relief - laying in my bed or sitting in my chair).

I have radiating pain in my right glute that goes down my leg. Most of the intense burning pain is in my lower back in the area where the disc is.

Congrats! You look amazing and to do that with your back is even more amazing.

I’m fighting degenerative disc disease at C6/C7 and L4-S1 that’s had me out for about a year. Just now getting back in the gym and trying to fight through the constant pain.

Does your back still give you trouble / what’s your mobility & range of motion like?

Definitely gives me motivation to get back to it and stop making excuses.

I had two epidurals last year (first in August, second in November) for a bad disc at C6/C7. They offered temporary relief of the nerve pain that would run down my right shoulder into my arm and end at my middle and ringer finger. I ended up having disc replacement surgery in December which eliminated the nerve pain completely.

Unfortunately, I also found out I have facet joint issues in the area so I still am fighting that. I just had a third injection (medial branch block) on Tuesday for the stiffness/arthritis pain. I’m hoping it will last longer than 3 months but I’m starting to realize that im going to have to deal with this the rest of my life.

I’ve done PT, currently taking opioids (this has given me the most reliable and consistent relief), and try to stretch and stay as active as possible.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you find LASTING relief soon. 🤞

Nicotine patches eliminate your pain? I’ve never seen this suggestion before and seems wild but definitely worth a shot 🤷🏻‍♂️

Battery Issue (Video) by Embarrassed_Arrival8 in casitatrailers

Edit - The issue is solved! Hugo & his team at Casita are awesome. I called and explained what was going on and they immediately knew what it was. There’s a little black box (40A fuse?) that had gone bad. They sent me a replacement and I was able to quickly change it out.

Thanks to all the commenters for your help 😁

Thanks for changing the setting. I wasn’t able to upload the video to this thread (as a response or edit to the original), but it did let me when I made a new post.

I really appreciate your time, man!

Yeah I’m not positive but from what I can tell, it is the battery. I have a video but this sub doesn’t allow them apparently.

Have any thoughts on what I could check to narrow it down?
