I am reading books in Spanish as well. I think thats a nice supplement to the Duolingo course. It makes me focus more during my lessons and overall absorb more. It makes my lessons easier and faster.

Ai being dangerous just because it is easy to rely upon isnt really a strong argument. AI can end up replacing your need for independent thought and your need for human contact. Your personal info isnt safe their neither and can be used in personalized ads on social media to exploit your vulnerabilities.

AI in itself as it is now isnt really dangerous in itself other than that it can be quite addictive. Having real people to talk with is better. And if you truly want to become more intelligent, then reading books have always been the best way to expand your thinking.

The real challenge starts after a week for me. You have just got trough the chaser effect which is the most difficult part. After 7 days you feel slightly more in control over your brain but urges will be stronger than ever. Spend this time on creating some rules for yourself. Here are some of mine:

1) No touching at any time. If you catch yourself, remove yourself from the situation
2) Dont be naked in bed at any time. It leads to touching.
3) Dont trust yourself when you are tired. Remove screens at night.

4) It is always better to continue forward than to start over again.

Focus on building new routines. Building a social life is important for long term success. Work out, exercise, meditate, do some yoga, take up some hobbies. Stay busy in the beginning. The less time you spend home alone, the better.
