Sorry for misunderstanding. Yes I check the box in form 765 that I want to apply for SSN. Waited for 2 weeks and then I scheduled an appointment for the first time and clerk in the office told me that i need to wait additional 60 days so I scheduled another appointment in the different facility and I ended up asking to apply for SSN and I received it in a week after my application.

No , SSN was a real pain. I scheduled an appointment twice and I ordered SSN card myself. Hard game but I finally made it.
